Delete it yourself (takes a minute)

This works in the Compound Unite app and on the website.

Sign in to Compound Unite.
Tap Me, then Edit profile.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
Type DELETE to confirm.

Can't sign in?

Email hello@compoundunite.com with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you signed up with. We will confirm it is you and delete your account within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your sign-in details, profile, pictures and profile history.
Your posts, comments, status updates, reactions, job adverts, shop listings and photos or videos you uploaded.
Messages you sent, including copies kept after "delete for everyone".
Your phone number, notification settings, saved devices and friend connections.

Deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone.

What stays

Groups you created stay for the other members, and another member becomes the group admin.
Messages other people sent you stay in their own chats.
Donations you made to fundraisers stay in the fundraiser's totals, without your name. Paystack keeps its own payment records as the law requires.
Data may remain in secure backups for a short time before those backups are overwritten.
